The release presents the reader with the description of Soames and his married woman Irene s d informal in their house. The germ calls them a gratulatory pair a wife and a husband globe one person. She was so silent and pensive that Soames was annoyed. Probably she was keeping silence because she felt up uncomfortable with her own husband. And the reader feels it due to Soamess inner thoughts which the author gave us. He images a perfectly served table and Irene sat at it. This image gave him a feeling of superiority one of his pleasant feelings. Also he regarded Irene as a thing which could be conquered and possessed and had a right to own.
